Alejandro's Tortilla Factory & Bakery: Authentic Mexican Pastries and Tortillas

We just go here for the tortillas and menudo. Alejandro's is 40 minutes away from where we live but worth every minute of the drive. Clean and seems to have a good variety of fresh foods.

Alejandro’s has been amazing and made up my childhood. Alejandro’s deserves my 5 stars. The only thing that will not deserve 5 stars and only gets half a star is the girl working the cashier. She is face of the business and she has the no costumer service. Very disappointed with my last experience.

I go looking specifically for the tortillas....the best I've found. Flakey and fresh. Just awesome ! " ...they stick together..." Go buy some Old El Paso woman.

Nice South Tucson store, factory, and restaurant. Alejandro’s are our favorite tortillas purchased in local grocery stores. It was fun to go to the factory store. The food was delicious.

Good sweet bread, hot dog and hamburger bread are delicious. They have fresh corn tortillas, fresh veggies, meats, cooked food to go and think they have seating to eat there. etc.

Alejandro's is inside a little market in the shopping center and features a small restaurant as well as the ability to see workers producing the fresh bread products (similar to watching the cooks at In and Out). There is a small dining area for eating, fountain drinks and of course FRESH tortillas! The food was good although under seasoned compared with similar food establishments in the area but enjoyed regardless. As to the tortillas which seem to be a hot topic in their reviews, I've now purchased them on multiple occasions and can say that some of the peeling is relative to how freshly you want to eat them. If I try and open them same day I get a great deal more than if I wait a couple days. Also microwaving the pack of tortillas for a small amount of time seems to help a lot if you're trying to eat them same day. That being said I didn't have a horrible experience like others claim to have and the taste is great--don't forget to warm on your stove before eating!!

I'm surprised at the bad reviews... Yeah, the customer service is just okay, but Alejandro's tortillas are some of the best in town. I guess if you like disgusting Mission Tortillas, these are not for you. But their shining star is their tamales! You have to go ask for them at the back restaurant counter and you can get half dozen or a dozen. Their beef tamales are the best I've ever had. They're not cheap, but they're worth it!

They are by far the best and most delicate tortillas on the planet.. We will use no other tortillas… Have to be careful peeling them apart… that’s my only concern with them, taste and quality are unsurpassed.
